Obituary of Silvia Ann Walker

Sylvia Ann Walker, 78, of Jonesboro, Georgia, passed away October 8, 2023. She was born on August 12,
1945, in Sylva, North Carolina, to the late Inez Millsaps.
Sylvia was a retired bus driver for Clayton County Board of Education.
Sylvia is preceded in death by her grandchild, Dawson Walker. She is survived by her loving husband,
Elmer Walker; children, Rodney (Kirsten) Walker, and Jeff (Rachel) Walker; grandchildren, Megan (Chris)
Martin, and Lily Walker; as well as extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, in the chapel of Long House Funeral Home beginning at 1:00pm. A formal service will begin at 2:00pm with Harley Maney officiating.
Long House Funeral Home assisted the Family with final arrangements.
