Roy was a great friend & teacher of mine. While growing up in Brevard, we crossed paths many times. We road around together shooting fire crackers when it wasn’t legal. Road around at night spotlighting rabbits & driving too fast. Went slay ridding together & almost froze to death. We had a great time together & somehow survived. Later in life, I decide to go back to school & enrolled at AB Tech in Asheville. To my surprise, My good friend Roy was teaching there & turned out to be my math teacher. One of my two years there, I rode with Roy back & forth from Brevard to the school. He was such a great teacher. I loved his spirit, his personality & his wonderful laugh. Roy may you rest in peace & one day we’ll ride together again.

Growing up with Roy and the Lamberts in Transylvania County and later re-connecting in Cherokee was an important part of my life and fun. High school and farming were always a joy with so many around and
Roy kept us in laughter if not in trouble. He will be greatly missed.

OMGosh!!! I will always have that memory of being called to the front office thinking I was in trouble for something. Mr. Lambert pretended I was to get a paddling & Surprised me with “ Happy Birthday” & a hug. Memories that last a lifetime. R.I.P. Mr. Lambert

Laura & family,
You probably won't remember our family but Roy was always so special to our Dad, Felix Hall (Aunt Ava's brother). When Tuscola played Brevard, they met on the fifty yard line to make a little bet and your Dad won most of the time.
When we started having our family reunion 's, your Dad would be one of the first to get there and one of the last to leave. My how I loved to listen to his stories.
Much love to you and your family. Your Dad was a treasure.
Love,
The Felix Hall family
