Obituary of Billy Joeseph Sutton

Billy Joeseph Sutton was a young 85 yrs. old when he passed away at home with his loving family by his side on January 11, 2023.
Born October15, 1937 in Whittier, Swain County, NC. He was the son of the late Algie and Bessie Sutton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters Barbara Brooks and Betty Lee Sutton.
Billy is survived by his wife of 64 yrs. Janice Moles Sutton also known as “Dissie”. Son, Steven Kyle Sutton Sr. (wife Kelly). Two Grandsons, Steven Kyle Sutton Jr. and Jerry Christopher Sutton and one Great-Grandson, Robert.
The family will be receiving friends and family January 17, 2023, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in the chapel of Long House Funeral Home in Cherokee NC. A formal funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, with Bishop Kevin Cornellious officiating. Burial will be in the Bradley Cemetery, Cherokee NC. Pallbearers will be among Family and Friends.
