Obituary of Mary Jane Taylor

Mary Jane Walkingstick Taylor, age 76, passed away unexpectedly on September 22, 2021 at Cherokee Indian Hospital. She is the daughter of the late Mason Walkingstick and Lucy Walkingstick.
She is survived by her children; John Phillip Taylor Sr., Carol Denise Taylor, Michelle Dawn Taylor, Heather Lee Taylor and Margie. 9 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren. Sisters; Ethel (Tom) Smith. Special Friend; Darlene Ledford.
In addition to her parents, Mary Jane was preceded in death by her Husband; Jonas “Goose” Lossiah. Brothers; James Walkingstick, George Walkingstick, Paul Walkingstick and Joe Mike Walkingstick.
A visitation will be held on September 27, 2021 in the chapel of Long House Funeral Home beginning at 12:00pm until 2:00pm. A formal funeral service will begin at 2:00pm with Scott Chekelelee officiating. Burial will be in the Jonas Lossiah cemetery. Pallbearers will be Edward Taylor, Norman R. Walkingstick, Kane Crowe, Chad Calhoun, Rexy Walkingstick and anyone else who wants to help.
Long House Funeral Home assisted the family with final arrangements.
