Earleen (Eustie) Craig Chandler, age 87, of Cherokee, passed away on Tuesday July 13, 2021. She was born in Jackson County on January 11, 1934 to Don and Bertha (Bradley) Craig. Eustie attended Bacone College, where she met and married Dan Chandler in 1953. He preceded her in death on may 3, 1974. Eustie and Dan had four children; Cindy, Donny, Richard (Freda) and Terry (Cleve). 4 Grandchildren; Zia Chandler Henry, Chavis Panther Hix, Tori Chandler Gunter and Danny Chandler. 7 Great-Grandchildren; Taylor and Conor Henry, Maci and Lane Hix, Gauge, Gia and Gavin Gunter. Eustie was also preceded in death by her parents: Don and Bertha Craig, Sisters; Betty Dupree and Jean Parker. Brother; Rob Craig. In-laws; Ben and Frances Chandler. Brother-in law; Don Chandler and Sister-in-law; Pat Chandler. She is survived by Sister; Mary Jane Letts, Brother-in-law; Ray Don Letts and many nieces and nephews. Eustie was a long time business owner in Cherokee, owning and operating Craigs Restaurant with her sons, Donny and Richard. A private memorial service will be planned at a later date. Long House Funeral Home assisted the family with final arrangements
